Guest guest
Hi Frann, > What about D' Arco tea? How can I tell if its good stuff or > garbage..?? A good source for pau d'arco is Roeger DeLongs' tea (www.pau-d-arco.com) I like pau d'arco very much especially when strongly brewed. Guest guest
Gubi: OK, all I get is an empty screen with that Pau D'Arco link. Is it just me? Joe C.
Guest guest
doesn't sell it? That solves that! I have ordered from another source. Should it be what it is expected to be and I've used Pau D'Arco for months, I will let everyone know of my experience. Additionally, I don't like the taste at full strength so I do add a flavored organic green tea which I have been advised " will do the trick " and drinking " copious amounts " as has been suggested, I need to enjoy it a bit. " Yes, but they collaborate and Lincoln from Princeteas gets the tea from . It is the same tea. Gubi Re: [ ] Is Pau D' Arco Tea Beneficial? > doesn't sell Pau d Arco anymore. Guest guest
Joe: How much of this tea do you drink per day and is it similar with its cancer benefits as the paw paw tea? There's just so much to learn and I want to take it all in, thank you. Frann
Guest guest
I cannot speak to Paw Paw issues because I know little about it. I will leave that to others. What I do know is that Pau D'Arco is a 'mainstay' of alternative practitioners that I have come across, The instructions I have is that, if afflicted with any serious disease such as cancer, one should be drinking a quart a day. I know one practitioner that I believe, drinks 8 OZ a day, as a preventative, and he has no diagnosed cancer. Again, it is best taken as a brew, after boiling the fine ground Inner Bark of either the species Tabebuia Avellanedae or Tabebuia Impetiginosa for " at least 20 minutes " . There is filtering involved and one can use cheese cloth or a very fine stainless steel strainer. Joe C.
Guest guest
Joe: The Pau D'Arco tea that is bought online, is it in tea bags or loose and how much measuring is invovlved with this type of tea purchase? I saw the tea bags in my organic health food store and was going to buy some but I thought the strength was probably a joke compared to what you need. Online I saw a small amount for $25.00 - not sure how much that makes. Does it stay in the refrig for more then a couple of days, or do you need to make fresh often? Do I dare ask how it tastes? Thanks for your patience with me, Frann
Guest guest
Frann: You are correct that the tea bags probably are far too inadequate for your needs. The $25.00 figure you gave should be for at least a pound. My instructions were to start with 3/4 cup per gallon of water for the initial use and increasing that " if you have a health problem " Right now I use a cup and one third to a gallon because I believe I have a 'health problem'. I would imagine the recommendations to use the PrinceTeas site is a good one. I do not know whether or not one can find a different source or rather, whether a different source is equally as good. If you plan on using it, it has been suggested that you drink 'copious amounts' of it. Now it's good night for now. Joe C.
