Guest guest
Hello all: Unimed, the pharmacuetical company that markets Androgel (gel actually made in France)is producing and marketing a DHT gel for treatment of low T in males and for treating benign prostate growth. This exites me. DHT does not aromatize. It is an-anti estrogen by nature, and it several times more potent as an adrogen than is pure testosterone. DHT plays a key role in the development and growth of the male genitalia and prostate. DHT has been blamed for prostate trouble and baldness. However, the medical community is starting to rethink this one. After all, when men age their T levels and thus DHT generally decrease and their E levels increase. Any of the UK and France members of this board have any experince with this gel? From my reading DHT replacement could be a key part of treating some forms of ED as well. I contacted my Endo and told her that I want to be a part of the clinical trials for this med. The *@~!@ FDA will not let this stuff be sold in the US yet, but it can be " mail ordered " via a company in the UK. I have the link if any are interested. I think all of us here who are looking for the best treatment for our HH and Kallmans related hormone problems need to unite and lobby the FDA to get with it. If Andractim is good enough for a British and a French man to try to treat his HH, it is good enough for me. This is our decision and not some big beurocratic entity that is goverened more by politics and big business than it is by doctors and patients trying to get the best treatment they can. So what do you say guys-let's get on the FDA's case and build a fire under Unimed to get going. WE have Suffered long enough!!!
