Hi all, tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since my first panic attack....my

symptoms are A LOT better...however I still get " it " sometimes...I

went back to work, but couldn't concentrate. I went to the gym, but

could only work out for 1 hour. I went to the movies, it went OK but I

was pretty nervous...

The breathing problem is getting better :) I think I am getting it

under control with flovent and xopenex (just switched from albuterol

bc of heart palpitations...). This deep breathing REALLY helps a lot,

give it a try! I do it for 5 minutes before I get out of bed and when

I go to bed...I also do a few throughout the day and try to remind

myself to do abdominal breathing...

I have an individual appointment on Monday with a therapist, I'll

probably keep it if my symptoms persist...I really want to avoid

taking western prescription. I'm reading about a lot of people have

side effects and withdrawal symptoms...I've done a little research and

found a medicine called SEREDYN....the website looks pretty spiffy to

me..I'm not sure though...I'll ask the doctor (kaiser) if they carry

it or even know about it. Anyone seen it/used it/etc.?...I know kava

helps with anxiety, but I heard it's not good with the liver...and I

already have liver/gallbladder issues...

Any thoughts? Hope all are well,

Shefy
