Guest guest
Glutamine is an amino acid present in food. HCl is an acid present in the stomach to help in dealing with protein and other chores. There is no relationship betwwen these two. There is also a compound known as Glutamine hydrochoride (a cheaper form of free-form glutamine) Re: Re: l glutamin for painful gut is l glutamine similar to HCL acid? i thoguht i read that somewhere.... anyone know? thanks! shefy <lindae321@...> wrote: Hi Sharon: thank you, thank you, thank you, The L glutamin is working like a charm. Guest guest
, Celery, spinach, dandalion, parley, cabbage, carrots, etc contain glutamine. However in foods glutamine coexist with other aminos acids and many compete for absortion at the same sites. If you want the exclusive benefits of glutamine you need to take it by itself, in good quantities (up to 8 grams a day in divided doses) and on an empty stomach to avoid competition. It works wonders to restore the epitheal lining of the long intestine. It reduces intestinal inflammation and nourishes the intestinal wall toward self-repair. One should stay with it for months...Also one should think about what has brought up the condition. The glutamine may heal you but what is the cause fo the problem to begin with, is the question you need to solve. --- Original Message ----- From: Dr Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2006 7:35 PM Subject: Re: Re: l glutamin for painful gut Hi : Could you tell me what food contains L glutamine? Guest guest
Hi Sharon: the book does not mention any harmful effects of the seeds. I think what you are doing is moderate and it sounds reasonable. Vegetarian diet as you are doing is probably your best friend until you start cleaning. The book does not give specific amounts. It just talks about the healing effects of the Papaya and seeds and how it is used all over the world for different things. You can also buy papain capsules, I just thought the real thing would always be better! I went to the naturopath today. They found 4 different types of bacteria in my gut that are causing my problem. She told me to take uva ursi - garlic - planntinis - and the l glutamine 1/8 of a scoop twice a day. doble up on probiotics! Sounds like a good plan. She was happy that started taking l glutamine. Is your biggest problem " leaky gut " ? I am a little confused? When you start cleaning remember PROBIOTICS because liver flushes and leaky guts have to be handled carefuly i just learned! heretoserve777 <heretoserve777@...> wrote: Thanks , I need a cleanse sooo bad. Am afraid, but going to soon. UGG The L-Glutamine powder is great but for cirrosis of the liver shouldn't take it. My liver is bad, but I don't think cirrosis. I'm gonna check though. PLEASE tell me about the Papaya seeds, I took them out and dried, now crush and just do half tsp powder??? an eigth?? I'd say any one can experiment? Do you know if there's harmful amounts? I can't get that bk right now. If you don't have access to it then I'll try libray. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Hi Franl: thanks for the info. You are right and I took diflucan 3 pills for yeast infection and that did me in and also recently, I found out, that I have enterobacter cloacae - (uva ursi was recomended) citrobacter freundii (berberine or uva ursi) kebsiella pneumoniae (plan tannins) plus ffresh garlic! or ciprofloxacin for 10 days. So that is making my gut hurt and to much for the probiotic to take over. I have to kill these unwanted invadors and add good bacteria also do the glutamine! (according to the naturopath) I would love to hear your opinion! I am leaving on a trip and wondering how I am going to carry al this stuff with me. N-A-G (N-acetylglucosamine)from Source Naturals or whom ever and or L-glutamine powder both are very simialar, I have taken 500 mg 2ce a day on empty stomach of L glutamine powder to heal my leaky gut. When my bowels moved through a certain spot where it leaked it caused heart palpatations, sweats, shakeyness, head spinning, feelings that it was over for me. Very scary, I've added digestive enzymes both HCI plus a mulitenzyme from Standard Process, I only took gluatamine powder consitently for 4 days and forgot but with enzymes have seen much improvement. Now I don't notice feelings of death before realizing I'm just going to have a bowel movement. I do experience some dizziness when I ignor the enzymes. I'm not faithful to them all day but when I am I get more done. L glutamine helps repair tissue in stomach, abd bowels as well as other, it repairs the lining very quickly as God intended, it also helps with peptic ulcers tummy problems ect.
