After reading Dr. latest book and testing water I've been doing a

research about water purification systems. As far as I know now a company called

Aquathin has a unique patented filter that makes after prefiltration and

reverse osmosis de-ionization. After this multi-step filtration zero chlorine

is tested in the water. This system is called RO-DI. It will be interesting to

test water some tim in June when more chlorine is added to the water.

The Hidden Dangers of Your Morning Shower

You wouldn't knowingly bathe in toxins every morning... or set out to ravage

your lungs and sinuses, irritate your allergies, aggravate your skin,

or...willingly increase your risk of cancer... would you?

Of course not. But the fact is, chlorine and its byproducts in your shower water

are powerful toxins - deadly to bacteria and fungi, but possibly poison for your

body.

You absorb 6 to 100 times more chlorine in a shower than you do by drinking the

same water!

Tests show that your body can absorb more chlorine as a result of a 10-minute

shower than if you drank eight glasses of the same water. How can that be?

I didn't read about that one, but I did discover that there is a new one out

called Vita C or something like that. Instead of filtering the water, it infuses

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) into the shower head to neutralize chlorine. In a way

sounds low tech, but it is very affordable so I am ordering one to give it a try

for 6 months or so. My sister bought a carbon or charcoal filter type, we can

compare them.

Check this site for a shower water filter comparison with a clear winner that

uses vitamin C to remove chlorine very effectively and inexpensively.

I have tested the water at the local supermarkets, and found that the water they

sell for you to put into your own bottles is pretty good. It is made by reverse

osmosis after prefiltering, and sanitized by ozone on the way to the faucet. I

have measured from 1 to 4 ppm of pollutants in this water here in Canada. It

seems to vary with the filter service schedule for the particular store.

Dr. says the water in this country sold at the grocery stores etc has

BENZENE in it and the filters from home units do what they are suppose to do

collect everything and then in a few weeks let it out the otherside to get

to you lol....

AFAIK, the key is to put it into your own bottles, avoiding the bottling

apparatus and the attendant daily cleaning with toxic solvents.

I am currently using the Britta filter system for my drinking water until I can

buy a new refrigerator with a thru the door water (filtered). My kitchen is too

tiny to store bottled water. any filtered water including store bought vendored

water you can fill your own bottles is better than tap water.

As for eczema, it took me 45 years to figure out what causes it to flare up

is eating wheat. If I have more than a little, I really break out. pizza,

bagels, breads, pastas. The more I eat the worse it is. If I go off wheat

totally, for 3 weeks, it clears up completely. This may be from " leaky gut

syndrome " which most people have but are unaware of. Leaky gut can be caused by

mercury attaching to the small intestine. The most important thing I learned is

that treating eczema from the outside is pretty much a waste of time. I'm

currently going thru a bout of it after a weeklong pizza fest with my grandkids

visiting. Now I am paying for it.

Dr clarks statement about water was probably one of the only things I disagreed

with in the book. I know a woman in our area who was given a water testing kit..

that was quite extensive. She tested her well water and several bottled waters

in the grocery store and also the Galaxy water filtering unit in the local

grocery store.. the type where you bring your own jugs and fill them.

The galaxy unit tested clearest.

We live in the country with a well. We stopped drinking it about 6 years ago. I

would never drink well water again here in the midwest. After seeing and

smelling the chemicals that are put on the fields.. and seeing the high rate of

cancer in our area. No way.. no well water for us.
