Guest guest
Rayleigh has a hard time getting ready in the morning. She does not have AS but has a 504 for anxiety and OCD. She forgets something pretty regularly and I have to bring it to her. I don't mind bringing it right now because she's in a new school and because her attitude has been really great in the morning. I don't think Rayleigh's teachers have a problem with me bringing things but the office staff refuses to let her know I've brought something. They may not know she has a 504. They never gave me this trouble with because he has an iep and 1:1 support all the time. Rayleigh doesn't need THAT much support but she does need help with transitions. I worry that if she needs something and doesn't have it that she'll develop obsessive checking behavior in the morning. I sent an email to the guidance counselor and to her teacher. So now I'm just waiting to see what they say. Miriam
