Guest guest
My 8.5 DD has this problem where she craves (i guess thats whats happening) sugar. She will sneak a container of icing from the cupboard or Fridge and eat the entire contents. This scares me a lot! Or she will take an entire package of cup cakes and eat 8 of the 10. We have explained how unhealthy this is for her that having that much sugar is bad for her body and teeth. The explanations do not seem to be working. We dont deny her sweats but we do monitor how much she gets because sugar does impact her hyperactivity. I thought maybe it was anxiety. She is on Zoloft for her anxiety and it seems to come and go every now and then. I'm so afraid that she will gain Tons of weight doing this. We already get slack from the doctors about her weight, except that she's mostly muscle and they keep obsessing over the scale. any suggestions???Thanks! “Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” - Steve Jobs
