Denied IEP but they gave my son a 504???? Help...

My son is 9 years old and newly dx with asperger's he also has ADHD, anxiety and

depression. We had his elegibility meeting today and because he is making good

grades and a good IQ they denied him for the IEP (which is what we wanted).

They did grant him a 504 plan and we have to have another meeting to set up

those guidelines. My question is can we ask for the same things that we were

going to ask for in an IEP? What can we ask for? Please help? All my research

so far has been on IEPs not 504's...and I don't know were to go from here!!!!
