Our son has been seeing a Neuropsychologist for group sessions, and occasionally individual appts, for over one year.  Initially, our son was not sure he wanted to be 'formally diagnosed'  with Asperger's  as he felt he would be labeled pr pitied.

This past August we asked this Doctor to please complete whatever else was needed to make a formal diagnosis.  She indicated that she would need to meet with me one more time for some questions regarding my son's birth and early years, and then she could complete the report.  I met with her as well as completing some type of standardized forms.

It's mid November and we have yet to receive the formal diagnostic report!  I have called at least 3 or 4 times, the first and the last 2 times rec'd no response. Does anyone have any idea how we can obtain this report from her?  My son is wanting to declare his Asperger's at his college, as well as we are trying to obtain other services for him, and they all require a copy of the report - diagnosis.  I am at a loss.

btw, she was supposed to start the group sessions back up in Sept (they had been discontinued for Aug for vacation).  Well, she has not started them

yet.. which is sad, as the young people attending really felt like they

had friends when they met with the others in the group. Thanks for any suggestions,Melani
