Guest guest
We've been on the diet for a year and a half and using enzymes the entire time. Interestingly, in the past two weeks, I've had a few times where I haven't given my daughter enzymes and I've noticed that she is actually less bloated than when she takes them. Anyone know why? It doesn't seem like going off of them would be smart but it's odd that it makes her tummy bloat and I have to admit I'm thinking about it. We use enzymedica digest gold, glutenease and no phenol... THe others we've tried seemed to cause stomach pain. Thanks for any thoughts.
Guest guest
when we ran out of no phenol, we stopped using it for about a month thinking our guy didn't need it..............wow were we wrong.............we found out that if you have a fenol issue (salicylates and fenols) and you don't take the enzyme is builds up in the system and causes oxidative stress.........man our guy was acting out, aggressive, issmy beyond belief, not sleeping.........it was awful. So I'd recommend going very slowly and one at a time. I'd lose the No-Fenol last because of the issues we had with it and monitor behavior. nancy j.
