Martha,

Are ya trying to get rid of the rashes by giving him the OLE? What

he could be experiencing is " toxic rash " ... meaning the toxic die-

off, from the supps, is causing the rash. I believe, and PLEASE

correct me if im wrong, that Dana suggests... activated charcoal for

die-off symptoms (and plenty of fluids!).

Reese - Thanks for your reply.....I started the OLE this a.m. b/c he

had pink eye symptoms. The itchy rash has been around for 2 weeks.

What do you mean by toxic die-off is causing the rash??? Could you

elaborate? Sorry....

I gave him 1/2 capsule of activated charcoal when he came home from

school this afternoon....

Just not sure what my next step should be....should I stop the

Lauricidin and anti-fungal protocol until the rash goes away or

continue as is (at a lower dose of Lauricidin and/or OLE) and

continue to give activated charcoal?

I hate to stop and start things but my son needs to be alleviated

from the rash......

Martha:

This is my understanding and if anyone has more info, or a

correction, please do give it.

When you kill a parasite, fungus, bacteria, or yeast, these things

put off toxins when they die (die-off). These toxins permiate the

body and can over-burden the liver, etc. As the toxins travel in the

blood, they often try to exit via the skin (rash). So... a toxic

rash does indicate that something is happening... that you are

killing off the bad stuff. BUT.. it can be an indication (and often

is) that toooo much is dying off at once... and that the body is

over-burdened by toxins from the dead bacteria, etc. the best thing

to do, imo, is to stop everything. Let the rash go away (i.e. body

clear the toxins) then start back at a smaller dose.

Reese - Thank you for the detailed explanation. It makes sense.

Within the past month, I probably did too much/too soon (introduced

an anti-viral along with an aggressive anti-fungal protocol). Now I

know why parents suggest " go low and slow. " Back to square

one.....it should have registered when all of the different gels and

creams weren't doing anything to alleviate the itchy rash.

Thanks again.

Hehe .. dont worry, Martha. It IS helping, YES. But it is helping a

tad too much, too fast it sounds like to me.

I think it would be good if we all did this. goto our calenders and

mark three months from now " Progress Report " . Then after that 3

months, do the next three months. We are dealing with alot of

nasties and it's gonna take time in most cases. In this fight there

are few short term goals and many many long-term goals.

Day-by-day... slow and safe always. You are winning the fight, it's

just one small battle at a time.

I would suspect it could be a die off reaction.... if this is, I would stop

and/or cut back until it is gone. I know , Dana and others will jump

in. If you do not think this is, I would try Emu Oil. It works great when

we had diaper rash etc.

Viral " die off " . A good sign. Try reducing the dose of OLE, and

increase your yeast protocol.

The first time my son had viral " die off " rash, it lasted about a

month. Each successtive time the rash has not lasted as long.

Legs, arms, belly, and back are the places where my son's rash was worse.

> sorry I'm new to everything and am asking a stupid question, What is

OLE ?

Olive leaf extract.

>> does it treat with all rashes?

No, it depends on the cause of the rash.

>> my son has server food allergies and has rash all the time. He

scratches himself to bleed almost daily.

Enzymes and/or food removals should help.

If the rash is celiac DH, which is commonly very itchy, you will need

to remove gluten, enzymes won't help.

Test for celiac before removing gluten tho.
