Did you use the counting rules on the hair? Blood only shows current

exposure and if he is toxic, it won't show in his hair because the problem is he

is

not excreting the metals on his own, hence the need for chelation.

My son's hair show no mercury or lead but you should see what we are dumping

on urine toxic metal tests during chelation. Its in there!

There is some speculation on other message boards that NCD is

effective for the immune system. It does not appear that it is a

chelator, altho some kids are excreting metals while using it.

Perhaps it helps the immune system such that the body can excrete

metals by itself.

Does the hair test show disordered mineral transport? Most hair tests

don't show high mercury, because the mercury is in the tissues and not

being excreted in the hair.

ALA is made by a healthy body, so if you use ALA and there are no

metals present, there should be no problems.

It might be helpful for your child.

You might find benefits related to food intolerance, yes.

Are you sure the yeast is under control? If you are going by test

results, your child's yeast might be in the brain [which is where my

son gets yeast now] and won't show on tests.

But, it might be other things, like viruses.

Maybe I'm a little slow at this but if you can't excrete metals out of your

system how can you test to find them???????????

I planned on doing the hair test now I think if it comes out normal i've

wasted a $100 dollars. Now I am really confused on what to do?

HELP?

How do you get yeast out of the brain?

I feel like I've missed something here.

This is such a personal choice because there are risks with chelation. Some

(although this is a small number) do get worse from chelation because the metals

can shift and sometimes they dont get flushed out. I would probably try the NCD

first, because its less risk and slow and steady can be very good too.

This is totally my opinion though, we will eventually be doing chelation, but

are trying everything.

There is no definite way to assess metal toxicity - the above are the safest

and most informative.

Challenge tests tell you nothing ( and can make your child much much worse)

even if there are metals on there because verybody has metals - its the

ability to excrete them readily that is the issue. Lost of info at this link

Chelation with no heavy metals present?

Dear friends,

I have been doing some research for the NCD zeolite and I am very intrigued

by it.

However, we had my son (4, AS) tested for heavy metals and there are no

toxic levels in hair or blood, everything is quite normal.

So here is my question: would he still benefit from chelation? And would NCD

be better than any of the hard core chelation stuff?

I know that Dana on her website mentions, that a lot of the food allergies

and general issues with her sons only disappeared after chelation. So should

I chelate for these benefits rather than the heavy metals?

Our biggest behavioral concern is constant finger counting with humming or

circle walking. I thought it was yeast, but now we have the yeast under

control and it is still going on.

Any comments are appreciated!

Thanks,

Christiane

Same anti-fungals as work in the gut, also work for my family's " yeast

in the brain " issues.
