Guest guest
Sheresa, Are you using anything else with the virastop? What is your yeast protocol? Are you giving her a probiotic? If it were my child, I would dose her with activated charcoal, lots of fluids, and give her epson salt baths. There is probably lots of die-off waste that's not moving out of her system. > > We're on day 24 of Virastop and are at 15 caps per day for the last 5-6 > days. My son had this problem as his awareness of " reality " grew. It can also be a result of yeast overgrowth. Dana
Guest guest
Hi We are using OLE along with the VS for anti-viral. For yeast I am currently using No-Fenol, 3 caps Candidase, 5 drops GSE with each anti-viral dose (no GSE with night dose). I also give 20-40 billion multi-strain probiotic in between anti-viral doses (with meals) and 1 Culturelle with the night time dose of anti-viral along with the Candidase and NF. We also do epsom salts baths every other night or so. I should probably start doing every night while we are on this protocol. I have never tried activated charcoal, but have recently been considering getting some to try. What is a good brand?? Thanks for your input. Guest guest
Not sure about brand but a health food store could give you a good recommendation. What we use is from American Botanical Pharmacy and it has been a life saver for us. It contains flax seed, apple pectin, pharmaceutical grade bentonite clay, activated willow charcoal, slippery elm bark, marshmallow root, psylium seed and peppermint leaf. It comes in powder form and we mix it with applesause. About the only thing you can taste is the peppermint but I know they just came out with an encapsulated product. The website is www.herbdoc.com and it's called Intestinal Formula # 1. > > > > > > We're on day 24 of Virastop and are at 15 caps per day for the > > last 5-6 > > > days. Guest guest
I would do 3-4 capsules 3 X day until symptoms improve. . > > > > > > We're on day 24 of Virastop and are at 15 caps per day for the > >last 5-6 > > > days. Guest guest
My older son has this type of emotional moodiness (emotionally fragile?) as his general reaction to not feeling well. So it could be her expression of 'die-off' or viral control. .
Guest guest
Sheresa, When I was using VS on myself, I felt quite fragile sometimes, like I was " this " close to bursting into tears. I wasn't sure it was the VS, because I can get that way from simply living the life I do right now, but it maybe the same thing for your daughter. It wasn't the pain or feeling particularly unwell that caused this, but it may have had something to do with general increased fatigue. I know how difficult the viral protocol can be. The yeast is a good sign though. Hang in there. ((hugs)) Anita > > We're on day 24 of Virastop and are at 15 caps per day for the last 5-6 > days. Guest guest
My daughter had a very emotional, extreme response to Virastop. I am convinced it was just too strong for her little damaged system. I stopped it and the reactions stopped. I am beginning to realize how damaged my daughter's gut is. I don't think she can tolerate strong proteases. Not to say that is it for your daughter, but just to let you know another person's experience. It just helped me realize what I need to continue to work on - basic probiotics, more yeast stuff. BUt, no Virastop for us for awhile at least... Jen --- In , " danasview " <danasview@...> wrote: > > > > We're on day 24 of Virastop and are at 15 caps per day for the last 5-6 > > days. Guest guest
Emotionally fragile describes my little one very well right now. can you confirm to me that it is safe and/or beneficial to use quite a bit more Candidase than the recommended 6 caps daily on the bottle. I have increased her Candidase to closer to 12 caps per day and using less GSE and it seems to be helping with the crying. I assume this is okay/safe??? I *think* that maybe her phenol load was above it's limit. Also, does the fact that lots and lots of yeast is being created mean that there is probably viral die-off occuring, even though I'm not seeing any illness?? Thanks Sheresa > > My older son has this type of emotional moodiness (emotionally > fragile?) as his general reaction to not feeling well. Guest guest
This higher dose of Candidase would be fine safety-wise, and if it is helping, stick with it for several days to a couple weeks at least. 12 capsules actually puts you into the therapeutic range of dosing. . >>>> Emotionally fragile describes my little one very well right now. can you confirm to me that it is safe and/or beneficial to use quite a bit more Candidase than the recommended 6 caps daily on the bottle.
