Guest guest
My (very normal) NT 5 year old wears a pullup at night. Usually, his pullup is wet in the AM but contains all the wetness. During chelation, he will often overflow the pullup, which I understand. Lately, he has not been chelating yet is having huge floods in his bed. It is so extreme that his sleeper becomes completely soaked and I have to shower him off. He is well supplemented and I have not changed anything lately. Any thoughts? Thanks! Guest guest
How much liquid is he consuming after 5pm? My son wets his pull up if he has too much to drink before bedtime. He is four, we cut his liquids in half after 6pm and this helped so he only wets once during the night. My dtr was the same way as a toddler, she trained earlier but for her to get through the night we had to take away her nighty cup. Kids do urinate more often when chelating but the increased quantity is probably due to an increase in his liquid intake. > > My (very normal) NT 5 year old wears a pullup at night. Guest guest
My NT son was wetting the bed until he was 7. We worked with a homeopath who suspected food colors. She recommended a detox called " Addex " which detoxed food additives and colorings. After just 2 weeks no more wetting at night. What a relief! It could also be a food sensitivity or as suggested in the previous post just too many liquids close to bed time. Best to you, Debbie > > > > My (very normal) NT 5 year old wears a pullup at night. Guest guest
My son stopped wetting the bed within a couple of weeks after we started enzymes. If you have any in the house, it might be worth a try. Magnesium may help in some cases. Also, I've read that peanut butter is sometimes linked to nighttime wetting. I know it sounds far fetched, but I've talked to several moms whose kids stopped wetting when they eliminated PB. Try it and see! One more thing: try eliminating milk after lunch. I was a bed wetter as a kid, and milk was the culprit. To this day (I'm 41!), I have to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night if I drink milk after dinner. (Obviously, I no longer wet the bed, lol.) HIH, - In , " debbiel3560 " <debbiel3560@...> wrote: > > My NT son was wetting the bed until he was 7. Guest guest
Most likely the enzymes helped him absorb more magnesium, which stops bed wetting. Also, the note about eliminating the milk after lunch also speaks to the need for more magnesium as excess calcium will create a magnesium deficiency. I am such a believer in the nutritional value of milk for those kids that can tolerate it, that I would definitely try supplementing magnesium before I would limit the milk. A good source of good milk, that is. Some people get bed wetting when starting B vitamins as B6 increases the need for magnesium. My nt daughter wet the bed occasionally when she was 4, after being toilet trained at 13 months (not my idea, but hers). Five days of supplementing magnesium, stopped the bed wetting for good. So can certain other things, like too much B vitamins, intolerances, etc. Dana
Guest guest
My son wetting himself (not at night though) was food intolerances, specifically eggs and peanut butter. We were already GFCF. Sometimes soy causes it too. The times it was really bad he was eating the giant spoonfuls of peanut butter during the day. Guest guest
Hello, My vote is he needs more or at a seperate time from other supplements more magnesium citrate. second- cause is food allergy. http://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/food-allergy.html#IgE third- add a free-form amino acid complex to his supplements. My 2 cents Ann

Guest guest
I think I have determined the reason for my NT 5 year old's bed wetting. He has been on Biomed Comm CSE-6 (homeopathic IGF-1) for a couple months. It has been VERY effective. But, it seems like there can be a temporary bed wetting stage sometimes. We will see how it goes and lower the dosage if needed.
> >
> > My (very normal) NT 5 year old wears a pullup at night.
