Guest guest
Alcohol-free OLE is available at HFS. I bought some today at Whole Foods Market, on sale. Adult dosage on most supps is figured at 150 lbs. so you could divide that by your child's weight. Congrats on the language increases. S S
HI,

I want to share our OLE experiment with you to see if anyone has any
advice (and because I am excited):

I've been giving my 5 year old son 10-15 drops of Energetix Core
Olive Leaf extract for the past 2 weeks. I don't have the specifics
on the mgs of OLE or % of oleuropein since the bottle does not say
(very unusual for me to use this without such info; but I trust my
MD). 10 drops was the dose given by my MD (Usman).

For the first week my son seemed irritable and less cooperative.
The second week I see a leap in language; especially with initiating
conversation and asking questions. No rashes. Possibly a slight
fever, but he was exposed to a few colds last week.

Best of all, my son now tells me he loves me EVERY DAY!!! I don't
know if you recall, but he told me this for the first time last
month. I was happy to hear it once, but overwhelmed to hear it
daily. The words are said with such feeling I often start to cry.

How long do I continue using OLE? I've emailed Energetix for
specific info on the mgs and % eleuropein so I can decide if I want
to increase the dose to see if I get more progress. The bottle says
30 drops, 1-2 times daily for adults. No specs for children. It
does contain 20% ethanol... the big downside. Maybe he's just
drunk?

Even my husband said our son was going through another burst in
progress. He NEVER makes observations out loud so it must be good!

Do we discontinue OLE to take a break like I would with GSE?

thanks,

Pam

_______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! If yeast starts to get ridiculous I'd take a break, but otherwise I'd just pile on the antifungals and try to keep going. Great news, Pam. Yep, I have that here with my kids. I have modified their anti-viral protocol yet again, with great results. Nice, isn't it?! =) > Best of all, my son now tells me he loves me EVERY DAY!!! Congrats! > How long do I continue using OLE? I have been doing anti-virals for over 2 years. I started with just OLE, but have done a lot of other things since then. The bottle says > 30 drops, 1-2 times daily for adults. No specs for children. I started with 250mg per day, and worked up from there. The most I ever gave was 3000mg. I would increase it every time my son seemed to reach a plateau. One thing I learned for my kids that might apply to yours: giving anti-virals without boosting the immune system is almost pointless. I watched a cold virus go straight into my son's brain. Do you give vitamin A and C? Especially C, which is keeping the viruses OUT of his brain now. > Do we discontinue OLE to take a break like I would with GSE? I would not discontinue the OLE until the viruses are gone, and the immune system is healed. I discontinued it when I thought the viruses were gone, and that is when I watched the next cold virus go right into his brain. You can discontinue it if you move to another anti-viral tho, but don't stop the anti-virals until those two milestones are met. Right now, I am using lower doses of OLE plus high doses of Lauricidin [which caused uncontrollable yeast overgrowth for the first two years, but now only causes " controllable " yeast], and I am seeing more gains. My son's vitamin C requirement is finally reducing down, the 45 grams per day that I was giving is now too much. By the way, I don't discontinue GSE, because the yeast is " controllable " , but only with GSE [plus Candidase and biotin]. Congrats and good luck. Viruses are nasty. Guest guest
Thanks, Dana. It is always nice to find interventions that actually work!!! I do give quite a few grams of C, but the Vit A is only from the multi-vitamin (2000 IU retinyl palmitate) and occasional CLO. To the naked eye, his immune system seems healthy... but I know the eyes can deceive me. I've got to do some viral research. Guest guest
Sounds like it's addressing virals within I would continue cautiously and try to keep the yeast at bay Congrat's on the " I love you's " !!! > > HI, > > I want to share our OLE experiment with you to see if anyone has any > advice (and because I am excited): > > I've been giving my 5 year old son 10-15 drops of Energetix Core > Olive Leaf extract for the past 2 weeks. Guest guest
Well, we've now digressed to making farting noises after saying " I love you " and laughing hysterically. Boys.
