We were in our 20's and I know several others as well that were in their 20's

and 30's. I don't know that age has as much to do with it as genetics,

precursors, environmental factors.

Second that comment. My wife was in her mid 20s and I was in my early 30s.

First time someone mentioned age as a risk factor. I wonder if there are any

facts associated with the age factor theory?

The report on this study that I heard on NPR today said the study was done in

Israel. How many of those older fathers were in the army and what vaccines did

they get? What else were they exposed to while in the service?

They probably realized we don't buy the " blame the moms " theory anymore

so have had to come up with some equally hare-brained theory that is

obviously very difficult to disprove. Anything to keep the focus off of

mercury and other toxins!

Our oldest has Autism, our youngest is NT. Picture this, we lost 5 babies

between the two, our oldest had all vaccines on schedule. We went through drugs

and everything else to get baby #2. Youngest hasn't had the first vaccine, go

figure!!!!

My own hair test is awful, however, dd is much more sick than I am. We did

synthetic progesterone and blood thinners for baby #2, the rest was natural

supplementation, diet etc. We are in the process of chelating dd, I will be

removing amalgams later on, we just picked the lesser of two evils, remembering

that they are both evils is the hard part.

We are moving forward, and since #2, has come along, even though it hasn't

replaced anything that has happened, she sure has filled a void that has a long

history, baby #1 (Autistic) in our 20's, baby #2 (NT) almost 40 -not convinced

age has anything to do with Autism............
