Consider some Oxypowder if he needs it to make sure the charcaol moves through. My thoughts are with you Mandi x

You need to follow up with something OTC and keep going for 6-8 weeks to get all those nasty critters. They have a two month life cycle and you can only kill them at certain stages is my understanding. We did Flagyl and followed with Biobotanicals Biocidin for 3 months and had success. However, they generally come back at some point..................sigh Mandi x
Guest guest
Hi Steph We too had this when was on the Flagyl. It lasted about 5 days. Pure hell at the time. V spotty as well. Having finished the course, we then had yeast infection from hell. Looks like killing off the clostridia then gave a free reign for yeast to get in. Ended up with prescription for Diflucan from GP and in A and E on a Sat night. Looks like we are having to revisit this again as clostridia is back. I'm v keen to learn more about collodial silver, O2 and activated charcoal, which Mandi has mentioned. I know Flagyl does the job temporarily but am concerned about using it given the chance it comes back again......... Would definitly have Yeast treatment in alongside Flagyl if we do this again. Guest guest
-I am delighted with HBOT, oxypowder and most recently dioxychlor which my son is now taking. He is much more affectionate and engaging this week. Oxygenating the body can only help to shift the little critters that space our kids out. My son has spacey episodes, severe ones a few times every day still though and obviously still has a lot of issues but I am really pleased with those interventions. Guest guest
My son has had almost " possessed " crazy behaviours which have flared up in the past and I had forgottten how bad they were. He still gets spacey and manic. Viruses and yeast are the hidden enemy here just waiting to kick our kids when they are down. I think they are as harmful to my son now as the metal body burden. My daughter has metal levels just as high as my son (she is lead poisoned but NT) so makes me wonder if the only reason he succumbed to autism was the amount of antibiotics he had after he was in hospital for pneumonia aged 5 weeks. Guest guest
Thanks Peta, it does seem to be working. Terrible nappy rash! Poor chap. The arse of a baboon. Let's hope it's worth it. > > > > Just two doses in to ten day cycle. Tom took second dose and half > an > > hour or so later - absolute fury and crying. Guest guest
Steph, I've read about sweet smelling diapers with maple syrup syndrome (urine will smell like maple syrup) which has something to do with the branched chain amino acids (I think). I wouldn't think this has anything to do with your son. I've also read somewhere that sweet smelling urine can be related to diabetes or starvation. None of these would seem to apply. None of this is very helpful, but I would think that if this smell continues, I would contact your doctor. Hope he's through the bad patch soon, Anita > > Hello > > Tom's on day two of flagyl.
