Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 What are you trying to chelate? Some people have problems with glutathione. S S I am starting my 2.9yr old girl on EDTA suppositories.
Was suggested eventually to start DMPS -TD/EDTA-TD.
1) Do all of these have to go simultaneously?
2) am I to continue with her anti-yeast and anti-virals with these?
I'm also doing Glutathion-TD and LDN-TD every night. and I've noticed
TD-DMPS includes some Glutathion?? am I to continue Glutathion and LDN
as well?

Please share any information about EDTA suppositories. I'm giving her
two/week. One on weekday and one on weekend before bed.
Is this hurting her in anyway? (is this painful for her in any way?)
any side effects I should watch for?
She seemed to pass alot of stinky gas after the first one today...

Thank you in advance.
I'd appreciate any comment about this message.

=======================================================
Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 The Autism_Mercury list has all of its back messages archived at www.onibasu.com. You might want to go to that website, select the Autism_Mercury list, and run some searches for " EDTA " and perhaps " andrewhallcutler " , if you are trying to find out whether this is the appropriate chelator for your daughter. What made you choose this chelator? Have ou looked through the files to the left? Are you supplementing your daughter? Lots of questions. Sorry. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 We are chelating lead in her. Her tests showed that her lead level went out over the chart. Her mercury is not as bad. We are supplimenting her. Like I wrote in the earlier message, I am giving her anti-yeast stuff (nystatine, GSE), antiviral stuff (valtrex) and some immune stuff (colostrum, MCT oil -which we will finish soon). We are doing Super Nuthera, B12 injetion, Probiotics.. On top of this, my DAn gave me some more minerals to give the day after the suppositories, mostly the ones that showed low in her testing. I am starting with the suppository one because it was recommended by our DAN. I should say, at this point we are just following exactly what she suggests-. So that's where we are. This morning - first morning after her suppository EDTA, she seems to be doing okay, no pain, or discomfort. Only a lose stool. my DAN is at an out-reach, my most urgent question would be whether to continue with her mineral suppliments everyday even though I'm giving her suppository only twice a week? I will go and check the web site. Thank you Suhnyoung > > > > I am starting my 2.9yr old girl on EDTA suppositories. > > Was suggested eventually to start DMPS -TD/EDTA-TD. > > 1) Do all of these have to go simultaneously? > > 2) am I to continue with her anti-yeast and anti-virals with these? > > I'm also doing Glutathion-TD and LDN-TD every night. and I've > noticed > > TD-DMPS includes some Glutathion?? am I to continue Glutathion and > LDN > > as well? > > > > Please share any information about EDTA suppositories. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 Suhnyoung, I am not much help on the EDTA front, as I have never used it. I do know that Andy Cutler says that DMSA is better at removing lead. Hopefully others who have used EDTA will respond. As for mineral supplementation, I would use it every day, even on chelation days. If you go that route, you may need to adjust what your doctor told you to give if the recommendation was based on every other day supplementation. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 I just took another look at her test restults and her cadmium and Tin level is pretty bad too... I should be starting her with TD -DMPS soon as well. Her system is pretty leacky and could that be why my DAN didn't suggest DMSA? Thanks, I'm looking at the site you've suggested and overwhelmed with all the info. wishing I was a science/medical person.. > > > > > > > > I am starting my 2.9yr old girl on EDTA suppositories. > > > > Was suggested eventually to start DMPS -TD/EDTA-TD. > > > > 1) Do all of these have to go simultaneously? > > > > 2) am I to continue with her anti-yeast and anti-virals with > > these? > > > > I'm also doing Glutathion-TD and LDN-TD every night. and I've > > > noticed > > > > TD-DMPS includes some Glutathion?? am I to continue Glutathion > > and > > > LDN > > > > as well? > > > > > > > > Please share any information about EDTA suppositories. Again, hoping someone who has used these together chimes in. I haven't used either. I use oral ALA/DMSA. > Her system is pretty leacky and could that be why my DAN didn't > suggest DMSA? DANs are afraid of the oral stuff, I think, and pretty clearly don't know how to dose it properly. > Thanks, I'm looking at the site you've suggested and overwhelmed > with all the info. wishing I was a science/medical person.. You and me both. Onibasu is an amazing resource though. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 After reading and responding to this whole message, it is clear that DMSA is the agent of choice, not combining EDTA and DMPS. And to clear brain mercury you do eventually have to add in ALA. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 Interesting....this sounds like my kids hair test. High in lead, and tin, silver, cadmium, antimony. Have you found and reduced sources of exposure? > > > > > > > > > > I am starting my 2.9yr old girl on EDTA suppositories. > > > > > Was suggested eventually to start DMPS -TD/EDTA-TD. > > > > > 1) Do all of these have to go simultaneously? > > > > > 2) am I to continue with her anti-yeast and anti-virals with > > > these? > > > > > I'm also doing Glutathion-TD and LDN-TD every night. and > I've > > > > noticed > > > > > TD-DMPS includes some Glutathion?? am I to continue > Glutathion > > > and > > > > LDN > > > > > as well? > > > > > > > > > > Please share any information about EDTA suppositories. Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 Mercury generally doesn't show up as high on hair tests but as disordered mineral transport.
