Guest guest
Price is the bad part -- $75 (plus shipping) for one container which lasts a month. I wonder how that compares with similar products? We put one scoop into 4 oz of apple juice (or any juice) and give him once once -- 4X per day. I don't know anything about the " E " questions. We also use fish oil & cod liver oil (nordic naturals -- no mercury). We add a mineral supplement during chelation. Cochran <Ladyshrink111@...> wrote: This is better, although more C and E and milk thistle need to be added for chelation. How much does this one cost, Abid? For how many servings? Is the E, natural d-alpha or dl-alpha (synthetic/not useful)? I thought I checked this one out and it had synthetic E also. [ ] Prechelation supplementing questions > > > We are on Spectrum Complete. Guest guest
Abid, The Kirkman Spectrum Complete we use is $49.95 for a three month supply. As pointed out, some of the items are lesser a dose than your supplement though. Ours is mainly formulated for kids on the spectrum, not really for chelation, so I do expect he will need to add things to it during chelation. Wow, $75!! It should have everything in there!! > > > > If I remember correctly, there is only synthetic E in Spectrum > complete, you need a good natural vitamin E. > > > > If you want to post the ingredients in the Spectrum Complete we > might be able to tell you more. > > > > > > [ ] Prechelation supplementing questions > > > > > > We are on Spectrum Complete. Guest guest
Thanks for the information. I too was thinking of uping the amount of Spectrum Complete given during chelation and of course adding in what you suggested. It just didn't make sense to try to get what looks like 40 pills a day throughout the day into him. Wow, $75 for a month. That I can't really do. The price of Kirkman is enough to handle. The other supplements we will need are not that pricey. Most of which I already have here. If anyone out there ever finds the perfect supplement with all the stuff in it..that would be super!! Guest guest
Abid, not trying to be a know it all here, but if you give clo, you should really give a good natural E. It is well known that giving oils without a good dependable source of E is not recommended. [ ] Prechelation supplementing questions > > > We are on Spectrum Complete. Guest guest
Is the E added to most fish oils insufficient? Guest guest
Is it natural e or synthetic? Many companies use the synthetic because it does not spoil and it is cheaper. > > > > > > If I remember correctly, there is only synthetic E in > Spectrum > > complete, you need a good natural vitamin E. > > > > > > If you want to post the ingredients in the Spectrum > Complete we > > might be able to tell you more. > > > > > > > > > [ ] Prechelation supplementing > questions > > > > > > > > > We are on Spectrum Complete. Guest guest
Yes, very insufficient. [ ] Prechelation supplementing questions > > > > > > We are on Spectrum Complete. Guest guest
Hi , So the 225 IU of E is not a good source of E? SO if I buy a sperate bottle of vitamin E -- is that ok? Guest guest
It's low even if its natural d-alpha, E, and if it's synthetic dl-alpha, its very low. Minimum requirement during chelation for E, is 400 IU, d-alpha. Look on the back of the multi powder and find out what kind of E you have, if it was me whether it was synthetic or natural, I'd get more. Guest guest
Abid, Not but that is what we did. We are going to use an additional e supplement. Just get one that is Natural Vitamin E..the d-alpha not the dl.
