Guest guest
Can you chelate and use the virastop/OLE at the same time? Are there any brands of OLE that are recommended? Who makes virastop? Does anyone know what it is derived from (mold, fruit, etc.)? Thanks in advance.

Yes, altho it might cause too much yeast overgrowth, so watch for that. >> Are there > any brands of OLE that are recommended? I use Natural Factors brand. >> Who makes virastop? Enzymedica. I'm wrong on this one, some of it is fungal, other enzymes in the blend are not fungal. I have to log off now, more info tomorrow. Guest guest
Yes, my understanding is one of the ingredients is made from moth saliva. [ ] Re: OLE questions Isn't Virastop from moth spit? Guest guest
My son hasn't tolerated digestive enzymes in the past - problem with mold - they give him D. Is D a side effect of the OLE/virastop program? If I try it, I want to be sure I can distinguish between " healing regression " and intollerance to the supplements. Thanks. > > > > Can you chelate and use the virastop/OLE at the same time? > > > Yes, altho it might cause too much yeast overgrowth, so watch for that. > > > >> Are there > > any brands of OLE that are recommended? > > > I use Natural Factors brand. > > > >> Who makes virastop? > > > Enzymedica. > > > Does > > anyone know what it is derived from (mold, fruit, etc.)? > > > I believe it is a fungal enzyme [mold-based, altho the mold is > purified out]. > > Dana >

He did get D once well into takinf VS/OLE after increasing his dose but it was a one day thing.

Okay here are the ingredients of Virastop Protease Thera-blend Seaprose blend Calalase Serratiopeptidase Nattokinase NSK-SD blend Mineral blend Seaprose is fungal. The protease blend would be fungal. Not sure but the calalase is probably also fungal. I don't know what the nattokinase is. Serratiopeptidase is from a bacterial source, found in the digestive tract of silkworms, a non-pathogenic strain. I received the above info on Serratiopeptidase from Enzymedica. I am replying back with a few more clarifying questions which I will post when I receive the info. Dana

How long did you give the enzymes? Sometimes you can have diarrhea as part of adjustment, which typically takes about 3 weeks. >>Is D a side effect of the OLE/virastop > program? Not that I noticed. >>If I try it, I want to be sure I can distinguish > between " healing regression " and intollerance to the supplements. Yes, sometimes it is difficult to determine the difference. Dana
