A step in the right direction!!!

I just left 's IEP!! And for the first time I felt the school was

beginning to understand my son. It was refreshing to hear that they

believe his behaviors are caused by frustration! (which I have been

explaining for years)... they have a behavior plan that looks

promising. His new teacher really seems to be on board and is very

interested in figuring him out. They have got the ot therapist I

requested and are working on helping him with writing.

What a change! I just felt I needed to share my good experience and

thank all of you who have given me advice on the IEP planning.
