12 year old son with Aspergers

I have a 12 year old son with HF Aspergers. He is currently in 6th

grade in a self contained group. We are preparing for Jr high. Any

ideas regarding mainstreaming him. His anxiety is really high right

now. Some ticks are re-emerging because of his fears. I would also

like more infomation regarding herbs and foods instead of medication.

I would like to see him off of Zyprexa and Zoloft.

I would not put him in mainstream classes without an aide. I don't know how

one could go from self contained class to mainstream without any transition.

He should have someone he can rely on to help him navigate and the then the

aide could be faded as he gains the skills and abilities to do so on his

own.
