Hi,

Glad to have found the site. I have a 4 yr old son with sensory

integration. He was diagnosed at 2 1/2 yrs. We have done all the

typical speech and PT. He had made pretty good progress, but his

ear tubes fell out last August and the DSI came back full force plus

some. To shorten the story, I've pretty well had to handle this on

my own for the last year as we have been waiting to get into a

specialist for 11 months. A blessing in disguise because I came

across the book and started the enzymes. We've seen real good

improvement, about 65 to 75 percent improvement. Some issues like

not listening I think are still learned behaviors (unless someone

has some insight into that). What I am trying to focus on now is

getting him to calm down a little more, especially when it's time

for sleep, also being able to sit still. I caught a post the other

day describing this. I believe the description was like a fish

flopping around. That's my son. I am going to reread the sections

in the book trying to target specific behaviors. I know the

magnesium thing was mentioned. Where do I begin with this? How do

I know what his levels are to begin with?

Also, when reading the book I myself realized that I have an enzyme

deficiency. I have tried taking them. I do fine until I have my

period and then I find I am very nauseous and throwing up. Anyone

else had problems like this? Both times it has started a few days

to a week after starting the Zymeprime. Also, I honestly think I

have more going on as far as leaky gut or something, lots of

digestion type problems, but how do I know where to begin or what to

target? Still a little confused.

Thanks,
