Re: IV Treatments

I read a post from a grandmother who told of IV being used on her 6 year old

twin grandsons.

Although the first 4 IV treatments were hugely successful, the 5th IV treatment

resulted in the one twin returning to his prelevel of improvement, and the other

she described as " not being able to articulate anything understandable " .

IMO, needless to say, not worth the risk.

[ ] IV Treatments

Hi,

I am so disenchanted with the DAN,I have done it all, antifungals,

Buttar, etc. My ASD son has improved on all the tx's but not without

significant consequences. I always did the protocol lower and slower

than suggested, but often he got sick, had regressions.

Now, my DAN practioner has moved on to IV treamtents, P-K pushes and

chelation, oral DMPS with IV EDTA. I know one child doing " great " on

these, but I am not interested. I am going back to Andy's basic

protocol, plus homeopathy support. But I am curious if anyone has

expereince/thoughts with these IV Tx's.

Thanks,

Diane

I think you should follow your gut and do exactly what you are thinking to do.

I haven't seen anyone harmed by what Andy is advising. My doctor has

experimented enough with my family. I am done with that. My son has made

tremendous gains this past year with Andy's chelation method, enzymes and a few

other supplements. There has been no negatives to this at all. Only gains.

And no doctor needed at all. I have gotten exactly what I need from this group.

There is also a homeopathy group if you are wanting to go that way. They are

having some exciting results. We have seen a homeopath once for autism

treatment and are planning on returning.

Can you please share a little about your homeopathy experience? I'd

love to add in homeopathy to chelation, but in my experience, most

homopaths feel that doing chelation would negate most of the

homeopathic remedies!

Here is the link to the homeopathy group I was talking about...

Homeopathy-ADDthruAUTISM/

They actually had a booth set up at the last DAN! conference in DC. They

understand that we are doing other things with our children. Chelation doesn't

negate remedies though there are things like peppermint that will. My homeopath

just asked that I not give any other homeopathic remedies without talking to her

first. She knows we are doing vitamin/mineral supplements as well as chelation

and enzymes...

There is a really good book called The Impossible Cure by Amy Lansky. She

used homeopathy to cure her son's autism. What they believe is that you can use

homepathy to heal the damage done by vaccines and other drugs. This enables the

body to detox itself of the metals thus not needing to do chelation. It is

worth checking out, they are seeing really great results.

My experience is rather limited. I have a great book by Miranda Castro who is

actually our homeopath. We have used a few remedies with success. We have only

had one appointment with the homepath for our ASD son and since she is a

classical homepath we haven't started any vaccine clearings yet. I do take my

other two kids to a homeopathic pediatrician and we have had luck with that as

well. We were able to a remedy she gave to get rid of a persistant cough my son

had. I like what I have seen so far and am definitely going to continue to

pursue this. Homeopathy has been around for a very long time and has always

been proven safe. There are no recalls on homeopathic remedies. Either they

work or they don't, they never harm.

I am avoiding chemicals of all kinds and this is one route I am taking. We

don't use chemical based cleaners or products of any kind. That goes for

everything from shampoo to eyeliner. Even their bug spray is botanically based,

no chemicals added. We are getting rid of carpet and will be installing

flooring that isn't toxic. Next comes better mattresses. Avoiding vaccines is

only a part of what is going to make us healthier people. My opinion and

soapbox anyway!!!
