Guest guest
Well you need an RX for that, what did your doctor tell you? Please do not use these products unless under a doctors care. having said that, my son gets td-dmsa. but he is 80 pounds and wearenoton that kind of schedule, he gets the 3 dose/day for 3 days on, 11 days off. This list has high volume and this is the first time I have checked in in a week. So hang in there and just keep posting, so one will reply. > Hi I am not going to use TD-DMSA, For the life of me I am in lost! Guest guest
Valentina thanks, when I reread my post it dose sound pathetic, I must admit. I wrote it during my bad moment of the day, had a bad day hoping we were getting our TD-DMSA today and we didn't, but then I thought might as well because I do not really know what amount to use to begin with and worried that I will make another mistake with my dear son who needs me to help him the best that I can. It sucks when you are doing this alone! --- Valentina Scharpf <val999@...> wrote: --------------------------------- I am not using TD-DMPS, so I cannot help you, but I just wanted to say that somebody will answer your message. I think people just didn't know what you needed exactly. Valentina > Hi I am not going to use TD-DMSA, For the life of me I am in lost! Guest guest
20 drops MAXIMUM dosage every 4 hours. Start at 3-5 drops and GRADUALLY work your way up. (This is a marathon...not a sprint...go slow) 3 days on & 4 or 11 days off....give minerals everyday. Suggestion: Round 1- 3drops Round 2-5 drops 3-5 4-5 5-8 6-8 7-8 8-8 9-10 10-10 11-10 12-10 At round 16 with TD DMPS I'm still at 1/2 dose and it seems to be appropriate for my 3.2 yr old 34 pounder....does age & weight have anything to do with going full dose or staying at 1/2 or lower....don't know...but its working and we've conquered yeast & constipation ...gonna keep at 1/2 dosage for a while. I use TD-DMPS but using the calculations at: http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/Andy_dose_sched.html#dosage The above should be the appropriate dosage. 1 drop is usually 1 mg. MAXIMUM for a child 40 pounds is 20 mg = 20 drops per dosage...... but start low and bring dosage up...start about 3-5 drops, you'll probably level off at 13-15 drops tops per dosage Anyone else feel free to chime in. PS. Have yeast protocol ready !!! (If you have Kirkmans Yeast Aid...GIVE IT) Be prepared for constipation around round 3. *Go to: ATEC https://www.autismeval.com/ari-atec/ Give yourself an evaluation baseline & do it every few weeks.....Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist. Guest guest
, please don't worry about how you sound... on this list we usually understand. We've all been there, one way or another. I was just trying to calm you down... I really felt sorry for you. Believe me, I felt just like you and not just once. And I was also alone. And no doctor, and in a different country, where nobody that I ever talked to heard about metals being involved in autism. The only thing I had was this list. So I absolutely know how you feel sometimes.... But don't despair. You're not alone anymore. Now you have us, this list... Believe me, some of the people here are just extraordinary. Guest guest
This dose might change if you are not getting your TD-DMSA from Lee Silsby: my son weighs 45 lbs. My Lee Silsby TD-DMSA contains 200 mgs DMSA per ml. I give my son .4 ml every 4 hours. That is about 67 mgs DMSA per dose. He does very well on this dose. I do not have an overly sensitive child. He has not had *any* regressions or complications after 12 rounds. Some will say 67 mgs DMSA is way too much for a child that size. I agree: if you are using oral DMSA. I believe much less DMSA enters the body through the skin, so doses can safely be higher. Good luck to you. For us, it is not so big of a deal exactly how much DMSA he gets, but instead that I give it to him every 4 hours. I think my son would do well on .3 ml or .5 ml, too. I agree with : what did your doctor say? Is there a reason why you don't want to follow his/her recommendation? I am sorry you are so worried about starting chelation. Hopefully, a successful first round will calm your nerves. Pam > > Hi I am not going to use TD-DMSA, For the life of me I am in lost!
