No, not too often, you can give for up to three weeks at a time, if you can last

that long. Or just longer rounds of 5 to 7 days, which is what we were able to

do.

I am not familiar with Metachel, is that some kind of chelated minerals? The

Caprycidin and probiotics should help keep the yeast down.

Great, on your progress!!! Doing your homework sure paid off.

We finished on Wed. our first round of oral ALA (25 mg., our son is 75

lbs), every four hours, round the clock, 3 days. The results while

doing this surpassed 6 months of TD-DMPS per our DAN doc's protocol

(every other day). We noticed he's better on the ON days than the off;

is 3 days on, 4 off too often? We're giving Metachel; & Kaprycidin as

well as probiotics to try to keep yeast down. Thanks.

So glad to hear of your good results with ALA! One important thing to

note is that the half-life of ALA is actually 3 hours, not 4. Some

people use 4 hour dosing at night to get a little more sleep, but

still dose 3 hours or less during the day.

take care

Congratulations! :)

I hope you will see lots and lots of improvements!

Also, I hope you will consider giving ALA every 3 hours, not 4. While every

4 hours is probably OK, every 3 hours is better.
