Guest guest
, Yeast looks different in each kid and also can look different in the SAME kid at different times. This is true for my son. Sometimes he will be giggling and stumbling during the day but no red booty. Sometimes up for three hours at night, but not giggling, just wanting to jump off the windowsill onto the bed. Sometimes just a red booty, but no other signs. Poop seems to be a very poor indicator of anything yeasty here, or I'm just a poor poop reader. If you think it's yeast, it likely is. Treat it the way you always have and see what happens. Anita > > Hi All, > > We just completed round 10 of oral DMSA following Andy's protocal. He > is doing pretty well. Guest guest
I totally agree with what Anita wrote below. Our son has terrific looking stools, but has a huge yeast issue. And, sometimes, our son's yeast is the out of control giggling, irritable, yucky stuff. Most of the time it is just like what Anita described (she must video tape our house)...our son climbs on the dresser and jumps face first onto the bed. Over and over. And usually, there is no red booty for us also. Although, one time, I finally saw the " red ring " which was actually pretty cool, since I heard others talk so much about it. Yea, its weird that I would think a red ring around my son's anus was cool, what a life! The other big clue for us that yeast is really flaring up is...climbing everything and super hyper. Really hyper. Running and running. Good luck, Kim > > > > Hi All, > > > > We just completed round 10 of oral DMSA following Andy's > protocal. He > > is doing pretty well. Does this sound like yeast? Over time, my son's yeast symptoms changed. Even now, he will get yeast from the anti-virals, but it NEVER shows up in the bms, only in the behaviors. So no more gut-yeast [since round 50 of ALA chelation], but we still deal with brain yeast from anti-virals. Dana
Guest guest
It could be the Vit B causing hyperactivity and stims. Our son is an undermethylator and can't tolerate high B doses. Colleen V.
Guest guest
Thanks everyone who responded to my post. It really seems like yeast to me as well, so I took the advice and upped our yeast protocal. Now, he is even MORE hyper and stimmy. Absolutely no focus and laughing up a storm. Can die off actually be an increase in the yeast symptoms??? In the past, die off, was always whiny, lethargic, yeasty stools etc. Now, it's his symptoms magnified. I've never seen him this hyper. We just completed a round this weekend. Could it be anything else??? We are trying a new vitamin C. He's had trouble in the past with Vitamin C (we are trying twin labs allergy C 1/4 cap, about 187. mg at each meal). We also added 1 cap of multi-vitamin about 1 1/2 -2 weeks ago. It is high Vitamin B. THANKS! p.s. we follow Andy's protocal oral DMSA every 4 hours 12.5 mg > > We just completed round 10 of oral DMSA following Andy's protocal. He > > is doing pretty well. Guest guest
Dana...what is Brain Yeast? This is the first time I have ever heard that? Do you have anything I could read up on it? > > We just completed round 10 of oral DMSA following Andy's protocal. He > > is doing pretty well. Guest guest
> > Dana...what is Brain Yeast? This is the first time I have ever heard > that? Probably because it is a term that I made up LOL Yeast in his brain, rather than yeast elsewhere in the body. My son will get yeast in his brain now, from anti-virals. I sometimes get yeast there also, causes a NASTY headache! Dana
