Guest guest
Have you tried Candex / Candidase followed by grapefruit seed extract? This is the one two punch we have been using lately (I gave up on the caprylic acid and OOO a long time ago because they were so hard to get into my son) and it is working well. Dana also highly recommends biotin. We are going to start that today. Anne > > Hi All, > > Tomorrow, we are scheduled to start our 5th round of chelation using > oral DMSA 12.5 mg every 4 hours. Guest guest
GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract by Nutribiotic's) for 2-3 days. Read here on Dana's site: http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Jackie--- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Tomorrow, we are scheduled to start our 5th round of chelation using > oral DMSA 12.5 mg every 4 hours. If you think the yeast is really bad and not responding quickly to antifungals, yeah, I'd wait. Marathon not a sprint and all that. Have you tried GSE? That always works best here. Guest guest
Thanks for all the guidance. We have used GSE in the past and it worked well, but since he wasn't tolerating probiotics, we would get on an awful rollar coaster when using it because it kills the good and bad. Now, he is definitely tolerating probiotics, so I think I will give GSE another shot. I know to give it on an empty stomach 2 times a day and I will probably give it cadidase enzymes. When should I dose the probiotic. Right now, he gets 1 first thing in the morning and 1 at bedtime and culturelle at each meal. Thanks for all your help!! > > GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract by Nutribiotic's) for 2-3 days. Guest guest
Jackie: Since the GSE could cause bacteria to increase, could one give advanced biocidin drops at the same time as the GSE to hold off the potential bacteria problem? Thanks......Kim > >> > >> GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract by Nutribiotic's) for 2-3 days. Guest guest
You might also consider giving Biotin a run for its money. I am going to at the next available opportunity. Guest guest
It sounds like he has a serious reaction. I realize this is late, but maybe you should wait with the chelation until he feels better. We use GSE for yeast and it works really nice. (I can't say though that we ever had a really bad case of yeast) Valentina > Tomorrow, we are scheduled to start our 5th round of chelation using > oral DMSA 12.5 mg every 4 hours.
