I believe that the yeast comes from the detox process, not really from

the chelator.

You won't be able to avoid yeast if you decide to chelate whether you

use oral or TD chelators. There are side effects from using a " bad "

protocol but these are different than yeast symptoms usually. The child

becomes quite sick from what I have read.

It seems the (ill) logic behind using metals in immunizations, etc is

for their ability to preserve and protect against bacteria, fungus,

etc. Remove them -- from the body or anywhere else -- and the junk

will flourish.

Yeast comes from a faulty immune system. If yeast came from detox then these

kids were detoxing before chelation, as many have yeast before you even start

chelating.

Yes. I agree...I'm just seeing the increase of yeast as we are pulling

out the metals (particularly around the mouth)...clearly in advanced

AIDS you will see systemic yeast and we know the immune system is all

but wiped out at that stage.

I have also read in many places that mercury and yeast are buddies!

The more mercury the body is handling the more yeast it grows in

response. I have mercury poisoning myself and suffering yeast

infections that come and go over the years. At times it gets bad.

From what I have read, yeast is a response to protect the body cells

from mercury. The body uses the yeast to absorb the mercury in the

gut to keep it from getting into more cells. So it makes sense that

stirring up the mercury during chelation would cause more yeast to

grow. Once you get through all that and the mercury is gone, the

yeast will be gone as well.

That makes great sense. Do you have that research? I'd love to share

it with my doc.

Probably so. Anyone I know with metals has a yeast problem. Even

adults. It seems to increase in the presence of metals. From what I

have read it is a protective response by the gut when metals are

present. Yes, it is likely the kids were detoxing some on their

own, thus the reason for the yeast to begin with. Or just the

presence of metals in the body. A body is always trying to detox, it

is just that some things it cannot rid on its own, such as mercury.

Well technically, it can but it takes 25 years for mercury to leave

the brain unassisted and this must include no further exposures.

My dtr has had yeast problems since an infant. She received vaccines

with thimerosal and later on had metal fillings. She is not on the

spectrum. No one has ever diagnosed her with anything. She did have

trouble with dairy digestion along with yeast. After amalgams were

gone this has all improved. It seemed like anytime she had a new

filling, we were at the doctor a short time later for yet another

yeast infection. Her first yeast problems were thrush at like two

months of age. (following those two months vaccines).

Thanks Jan... that makes sense...our ND said same thing but you gave a

good explaination.

So if the child has yeast problem during chelating, is that good or bad?

Should it be treated, or not because this is the way the body fights

with mercury?

Usually it is a good sign, because it means metals are coming out.

Definitely work to eliminate the overgrowth. It can cause some nasty

issues, and mask all the good things.

Usually is not a good sign (or a bad one) and for sure it doesn't mean that

the metals are coming out.

A lot of people have yeast problems during chelation. Try to treat it and keep

chelating. The yeast problems will usually get better and better with more

chelation.
