Guest guest
Caroline the friend said " prior to nv he had one words requests he has over the few weeks came out wit " i want go car " " i dont want any more " in isolated incidences, also he has discovered his tongue an doing all sorts of movements with it.. " which to me clearly sounds like a surge. And Cheryl I totally understand your knee jerk but keep in mind that you trusted and were told (from memory from our recent conversation) to follow the advice of a nutritionist that puts your child onto " oooh let's try this and that and this " tons of supplements which we know from this group you don't mess with mega dosages of ANY vitamins with kids no less throwing in all the other junk she ALSO added to the mix - and your poor baby -your 6 year old child has a nervous breakdown from all of it- and as if that's not enough (!!) then it's recommended from my understanding to pull her off all the supplements to give her " system a break " but now various medications -psyco meds?? are recommended instead!!! I mean if you ran what your daughter was put through past the average anywhere USA pediatrician they would have blown a cork. (had some licenses taken away???) And Caroline...what do I think is going on? I'd say in regards to the sudden change in behavior - it could be anything at this point. Evaluate his current situation and are there things around him that are changing, stressful, scary, sad, confusing? Could he be expressing those feelings in the only way he knows how? Has anyone tried to talk to him about why he is upset? What is he feeling? And If he can't express it verbally -maybe let him act out what's bothering him with clay or puppets. I mean do we know if something happened at preschool/school that is upsetting him? And when I say anything is he getting enough water- even dehydration can make one cranky! Nutriiveda is amazing but it's not fair to expect it to make our kids " poof " normal in a day, or week, or even a month. We should all be thrilled (I am!!) that it's creating the surges it is in the amount of time. But talk about " poof " ....um....I mean Caroline- the kid goes from one word utterances to 4 and 5 word sentences IN A MONTH??? -that is HUGE!! With apraxia or any of these other conditions there will be good and bad days -but overall there should be progress. Please update and thanks for being a great friend! And Cheryl -hugs to you and please give us an update as well! =====
