Kaufman Kit - Can I use this on my own with my child?

Hi,

I was thinking of purchasing The Kaufman Speech Praxis Treatment Kit 1 for use

with my 25mth old apraxic son.

I'm in Australia, and have been unable to find any sp that works with these. Our

prompt therapist had a look at them, and said that she believes they would be

helpful for my son a little further down the track - he is essentially non

verbal at this stage. He has started to use a few word approximations over the

last few weeks though (Yay!).

I was wondering if it would be appropriate for me to use the kit 'by myself' -

ie without the guidance/aid of a sp?

And, if you have used the kit, have you found it to be of help to your child?

Any input on the subject of this kit would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.
