Guest guest
It has been extremely positive for us. My three year old would wake up 4 to 6 times a night sometimes just for a drink and sometimes he would be awake for one to four hours. About a week after starting NV he starting sleeping through the night and longer in the mornings. He cut out naps and the days he gets NV he sleeps all night long, the few days he refuses it totally, he's up all night long. I do make sure to give it to him after breakfast, so if there is an increase in energy it's worn off by nighttime. He usually finishes it sometime in mid afternoon liralen > > We have not yet started Nutriveda and so I wanted to ask... has anyone noticed any pros or cons related to Nutriveda and sleep? > > My son (almost 3) has a lot of sleep issues already and so it is something I need to take into consideration. > > All information is so appreciated! > > - The Family >
Guest guest
I started my daughter then -- 2 years and 10 months at half scope first (about a week) and she has no problem sleeping through the night. Then I up her to 1 scope a day (about a week), I started to see her sleeping habit gradually changed. She is easily to wake up during the night and became little fussy. Then I up her NV intake to 1 and half scopes a day (about 2-3 days), BOY did I want to scream...She wakes up at least 2-3 times during the night and became more and more fussy. Because I didn't see much of the difference in her speech when she was on the NV, therefore I took her off now. But lately I still seeing people talking positive for NV and wanted to give it another chance. I hear because it is detoxing the body that is why you will see a lot of hyper active behaviors and try not to give the NV at night time could be helping the situation as well. Hope this will help you decide if you want to try it out or not. Some people say it is helping with their child sleeping too???  From: slopefam11215 <slopefam11215@...> Subject: [ ] Nutriveda and Sleep Date: Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 12:15 PM  We have not yet started Nutriveda and so I wanted to ask... has anyone noticed any pros or cons related to Nutriveda and sleep? Guest guest
My guess is NV would generally help sleep problems. Two things that may disturb sleep are serotonin and yeast problems. NV should bring serotonin back to proper balance by both providing tryptophan and fixing a slew of affecting issues -- provided the genetic/epigenetic foundation is " good enough " . I'm tackling yeast by making a " cereal " of nuts, almond milk, NV and a bit of cold-strained honey. Guest guest
I haven't noticed a difference with my son, although he eats like a bird and I have trouble getting a full scoop down him every day. I'm also taking the NV and have noticed improvements with my sleep, though. I used to have really bad middle of the night insomnia (most nights, lasting for hours) and now I'm waking much less and able to get to sleep a lot sooner after waking, when I do. My son also has sleep issues though, and his pediatrician recommended melatonin (starting at 1 mg, going up to 3 mg if needed). It's been phenomenal, just on 1/2 mg. He's going to sleep within 10 minutes of going to bed and staying asleep a full 11 hours. You may want to look into this if you haven't yet. > > We have not yet started Nutriveda and so I wanted to ask... has anyone noticed any pros or cons related to Nutriveda and sleep? > > My son (almost 3) has a lot of sleep issues already and so it is something I need to take into consideration. > > All information is so appreciated! > > - The Family >
Guest guest
I actually sleep much deeper, and it seems that Liam does, too. We both used to wake up briefly several times a night and now we don't.
