Guest guest
Hi Marni, Wow it goes well beyond acting calmer for my ADHD son who has for most of his 15 years been on mega dosages of fish oils -and as I pointed out nutriiveda does not replace fish oils but compliments it tremendously. Dakota is light years more focused, communicative -and not only calmer -but 2 nights ago when we had family over for a dinner party...without asking he helped me clear the table and actually spent time sitting and talking with his elderly Aunt and Uncle. Again light years difference in maturity -getting homework done early...and grades solid high 90s. The only time I see any old behaviors of teasing his brother and acting up is if he forgets his fish oil. But fish oils brought him amazingly far in that they kept him off medications all this year. But the surges on nutriiveda are (and those of us that see them know what I mean) BEYOND anything you can explain -across the board. And I can't explain it just a difference -and it for sure appears to me as if not just helping but repair is going on. I am seeing my boys as different -in an incredible way. Tanner did go through a bit of a cranky period as well -my husband was more upset by it than I was. I saw it as typical teen like attitude. It has passed -but again to me it wasn't that big of a deal (especially in light of all the surges) OK it wouldn't be a post from me without my version of why I think this is happening right? I just read that a microchip, the brain of a worm and the human brain are much more alike than we think http://www.physorg.com/news191167208.html Well perhaps when the body starts producing more of the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, etc it's like a faucet that had the water turned off for awhile. You know how when the water is first on sometimes you have to let it run for a bit because when the liquid first comes out it's all strange brown looking and you wouldn't drink it if they paid you -and maybe even smells? Well not saying it's like the water exactly -but perhaps in a way? Maybe that's why it's temporary because as the " water keeps flowing " it gets clearer and more the way it's supposed to? Those neurotransmitters would for sure affect mood, behavior etc. The essential fatty acids and the essential amino acids both affect neurotransmitter production from what I read. (I have some of this in the info for the docs on the PDF you find here http://pursuitofresearch.org/faq.html ) So that may be the answer people -think brown water with lots of sediments (ama? toxins?) and we have to wait till it runs clear! =====
