Guest guest
My son will be 3 in a couple of weeks. He can say mama and ya in english consistently, as well as ni hao (hello), shou-shou, (sp? thank you), and shia (snow) in chinese. My teenagers speak spanish, and my 6 & 9 yr learning chinese in school. The children's godfather was mute/deaf and he was teaching sean to sign. He now knows over 100 signs to use (which meant i had to now learn asl...) but that seems to be doing the best for him. My 6yr old was also dx with apraxia but outgrew most issues by kindergarten. will not be that fortunate, and as he has flourished with asl, that has been our outlet......aslpro.com is WONDERFUL heather shultz
