Guest guest Posted December 26, 2006 Report Share Posted December 26, 2006 Hi , A doctor friend of mine who is trained in the Creighton Model of Fertility Care said that LDN is being used successfully by those seeking pregnancy as well as for other fertility issues. He was the one who told me about using LDN for Crohn's. Congratulations! I've got to agree with you about a baby's smile melting the sun! I had been using the Creighton model for over a 1 ½ years now and had been very successful with it. That’s why I’m kinda wondering if the ldn had anything to do with it. Some day someone will stay on it through pregnancy and we'll know if it's OK. I'd venture to say it's more than ok, may even be beneficial for any pregnant mother to take, like going on folic acid and other vitamins and minerals. An immune system Orchestrator may be the key to healthy babies and mothers. But what male is going to risk telling that to women? Women are going to have to find out for themselves. I will be signing off of this Group as my doctor suggests that I do stay off of ldn throughout the pregnancy (although he does have one lady who’s about 5-6 months pregnant and doing well on ldn…my condition isn’t that severe so I opt out for now. I have some hormonal dysfunction that hasn't responded to other therapies. LDN has helped a lot. I am also a FertilityCare Practitioner Intern. I LOVE the Creighton Model and really beleive in it. Last year we had a lot of discussion about how through many pregnancies and even after the baby is born, most of the MS symptoms seem to go away. But just as a caution, they sometimes come back like a truck running over you. My guess is that when pregnant your immune system somehow kicks into gear to care for the baby. Our bodies are amazing.
