Thanks so much for sponsoring me! Everytime someone sponsors me, I

get all choked up. I just can't believe everyone's generosity.

I ran 3.5 miles this morning, and I'll run 6 miles on Saturday. I

ran places that I'd never even have been able to walk before: I ran

up the Filbert Steps to Coit Tower, and when I turned around to face

the Bay, there before me was the most beautiful sight--the rising sun

through the Bay Bridge. It was bright orange and so beautiful that I

got a little teary eyed.

Then a woman in a motorized wheel chair asked me for directions. I

pointed out all the curb cuts so that she could see what I was

seeing. When she saw the beauty, she let out a laughing yell of joy,

just like a child would.

We enjoyed the morning together, just for a moment, connecting

through beauty and joy. We said good-bye, and she thanked me.

What a wonderful morning!
