Guest guest
Hi ! I haven't posted in awhile, but had to respond to your note. Tanner is doing so well. You must be so proud ... and so relieved. He sounds GREAT! I love to hear these updates, as Tanner's early history is so similar to 's. She was diagnosed with verbal apraxia at about the same age and, in 20 months time, has gone from 4 words to having age appropriate vocabulary at 3.10. We are working hard on her intelligibility, but she is speaking in 8 word sentences these days. Like your family, we have no history of speech delays or disorders in our families. I loved " The Late Talker " and recognized your story in " The LCD Solution. " Thank you for giving those of us with apraxic children hope! _____________________ Warmly, Oakes-Hauf Mom to , 3.10 (verbal apraxia, but doing amazingly well) and 1.8 (talking away!) > > Hi everyone! > > Tan-man update!
