Some lyme patients feel that the LDN causes a herx effect like antibiotics and that's why the very harsh negative symptoms upon starting LDN. Lyme is a bacteria and LDN cannot fight bacteria. Lyme that has caused the immune system to become autoimmune, the autoimmune disease development can possibly benefit somewhat with LDN.
