This is almost uniformly true, but Maranatha organic peanut butter

> doesn't have the aflatoxin problem.

How did you find that out? Did you call the company and ask? Is it

on the label? Just curious.

Mel,

I searched online.

You can type in " aflatoxin peanut butter " into google to read about

aflatoxin. I found the Maranatha was referenced several places as NOT

having the aflatoxin. I think it tastes really good. I was never a

big peanut butter fan before either. But it's really tasty.

kewl! I just discovered a grocery store one town over that sells a LOT

of special diet stuff. Apparently the owner got sick with something

and had to go on a gluten free diet, so now they carry all kinds of

that stuff. Found Meyenberg goat's milk there! They also do carry

some Arrowhead Mills products so I will check there. Perhaps I can

eventually convince them to find and carry more SCD legal stuff!

-Mel

P.S. I just want to say thank you to everyone that has responded for

my frequent posts. Not only are they incredibly informative, but it's

nice (in a way) to know there are other people in my shoes. I have a

DAN in mind, but without insurance paying for anything and virtually

no grant money or aid to speak of, I don't really know how we're going

to pull it off, but...it's DEFINITELY on the list!

No but I've made beef broths, putting in bones, water, chunks of meat,

vegetables, salt, pepper, bay leaf, other herbs. Chicken soup should be

great.

Take care, Fay

P.S. Just do it in bulk, refrigerate overnight and maybe another day,

skim the fat, and freeze in whatever size containers you use.
