Guest guest
I feel bad for you dad. I can imagine he feels like he probably just lost his child :-( Maybe they will at least care for it instead of dumping it somewhere to fend for itself? Next thought, why in the world would someone want to steal and old mimi van??? I hope they find the pup soon. Sue

Guest guest
How absoulutely despicable and heartbreaking. I hope they get whoever did it, but most of all, I hope your father gets his beloved companion back. I am almost in tears for him myself! > > Trying to clean up my hideous kitchen. is in the living room with the neighbor kids, taunting them with tony hawk skateboarder. marc is on a walk with the dog. We just came in from a really nice afternoon sitting on the front steps chatting with our neighbors on either side. > > The doorbell rings. It is my mother, father, brother, and sil. wtf? nobody told me there was a party at my house... > > Nope, no party. My parents spent the afternoon at an outlet mall near my town, and met my brother, sil, and neice there for lunch. When they came out of the mall, their van had been stolen -- with their 11 year old shih tsu in it. > > They ask us to drive them home, (2 hours away) and Marc volunteers. > > While they wait for him to get ready, we all chat. My father is a MESS. He's an old man, and he LOVES that dog. REALLY loves that dog, in that way that only old men can love foufy little dogs. > > Screw the van; the loss of the dog has reduced him to a pale quivering shadow. He is trying so hard not to cry, but I wish he would. He is destroyed, decimated. We call the humane society in each nearby town to put them on watch for the dog. My father can barely talk, so I do the phoning. > > Marc drives them home. > > What kind of sick freak steals a minivan with a little dog inside? And what has the sick freak done with the dog? I'm hoping against hope that he just dumped the dog out in a field or something...but that's obviously the best case scenario. Guest guest
Good grief! I'm so sorry for your dad Jacquie. Today I am ready to move out to the middle of Idaho on a huge ranch so that I have lots and lots of land and no people around me. You can come though.
