Guest guest
Dr. Nagata seemed quite confident that he could reconstruct my ear. I attended a lecture at the hospital while there with a lengthy slide presentation of cases including many second reconstruction cases. All had impressive results. Also something that is not noticeable on his website is that is elevation procedure (raising the ear away from the head) is far better the Brent's, in addition to the construction being a 2 step rather than a 4 step process. Of course in my case there would be at least one or more additional surgeries due to the scar tissue and poor placement of the first construction. As to Toronto, the surgery can be done in Toronto but not by Dr. Nagata himself. It would be done by surgeons under his tutelage as he cannot operate in Canada or the U.S. Steve B.
