Guest guest
Hi - I've posted here before about trying to get my doctor to answer questions. Finally got a chance to talk him again six weeks after the appointment that raised the questions. He says he's learned a lesson about communication. I surely do hope so. I told him that I felt I had suffered more from anxiety and frustration than I had physically. I guess we all have to go on educating our doctors about working with us. Meanwhile, thanks for the information and support you've offered both on line and in person. (Another plug for meet ups here). Even though so far nobody has had quite my situation it's still helpful to share. So here's my situation: I've had some post menopausal bleeding which could be from fibroid degeneration. (I've been appropriately tested for the possibility of cancer, and there's nothing else unusual going on that we know of.) Has anyone been there, done that? What was your experience with fibroid degeneration? Any treatment needed? My bleeding has not been unduly heavy or painful, and I'm not incllined to do anything invasive if it's not necessary.
