Checked the site (couldn't remember if I was registered) and I do remember

helped me with this (registering). So, folks, I'm on the list! How

about you ?

Thank you,

Take care,

Alper,

I, too, have gotten that message a few times but then it goes through other

times. I don't understand it but Geocities is a free site and I honestly

don't understand. Jim did call someone there so hopefully it will be

resolved soon...but keep trying.

I tried to checked the site whether my info registered or not. It returned

message like below:

Sorry, this GeoCities site is currently unavailable.

The GeoCities web site you were trying to view has temporarily exceeded its

data transfer limit. Please try again later.

Are you the site owner? Avoid service interruptions in the future by

increasing your data transfer limit! Find out how.

Alper and others who have contacted me....Yes, we have a problem and now

know what we have to do and how to get it fixed. As you can appreciate, we

couldn't go to the source (). Jim will contact Geocities next week and

get

their recommendation also...of course, I'm sure their recommendation will be

to start paying for more capacity. I now understand why had requested

donations. I'll assume any costs. I really want to see this database grow

and serve our community. Stay tuned and don't give up; we'll get it solved --

no way are we going to let all 's work go in vain.

I agree, Dolores. As soon as we know the site has more capacity, we can

really encourage people to send in their photos. I have several that we have

taken at various Connections that I plan to submit (with their permission).

Thanks for your reply.

I made a donation to and will do likewise to you. It's too good a site

to lose. I wish we could encourage everyone to include their photograph,

too. It's so nice to put a " face with the name " .

- What data base are you talking about? I note that

has not updated the PLS data base for a year now. -- Dorothy
