Guest guest
Yes, I do have one. If I can mentally get over having to use it I know the walker will help. I did take it last month to the mall and it came in handy. I just didnt like the staring-but it is better then falling. Maureen mazzie20022000@...> wrote: Have you tried a walker with wheels? Guest guest
I agree the staring does get to you at first but when you find how great it is, the stares are like water off a ducks back. Guest guest
hey gary, i'm going through the same thing so i sympathize. just in the last wk i crossed over to the walker and am realizing it's worth the stares (maureen's right). i have braces too and was struggling w/the cane and finally decided h*@l with it. still use the cane in the house (and the walls ) and take the walker out. i'm w/you though; it's hard mentally. i think it makes people feel uncomfortable/awkward no matter what, but esp. if you're younger. your fellow north carolinian, sarah ps where you pleased that your namesake won the basketball game against UNC the other night? that's all anyone in raleigh has been talking about. --- gary duke for1duke@...> wrote: > Yes, I do have one.
