Norma, there will be a NC connection 'Autumn in NC " . Each year Don

and his wife Betty take on this connection. Its in the Fall around the first

week in October in Winston Salem. So mark your calendar.

Here are some pictures of 2005 event. I couldn't go that year but I did

attend 2004. just scroll down on that page and you will see the other events

held around the country.

Each year we have a major fund raiser in a different part of the US. This

year its being held in New York, in Long Island. Tentative schedule is Sept 29

to Oct 1. So get yourself really to ask all your friends to pledge.

You'll find more information on the main web site _www.sp-foundation.org_

(http://www.sp-foundation.org) as plans develop. This site and the Synapse

PLS

Newsletter site are so full of information that everyone should take the time

to

read them. These are hard working people keeping us all informed and they

all have either HSP or PLS so nothing stopped them.............

Thanks, Tawny. I am so hoping Dr. Bedlack will ease some of my husband's

Norma, now I know what you mean about being so shocked. I would be

too!! I think your doctors or whoever are maybe being too cautious at

the moment. If you have no problems driving then I am sure you will

pass your driving evaluation test. Try and be positive for now.
