Yes, I have been officially diagnosed with Lyme instead of PLS. However, I

could still have an Upper Motor Neuron disease, we have to wait until the

Lymes is treated, expected 2-3 years because of my poor condition.

often times, with what i have read anyway, there are more than one processes

going on other than pls

That's the thing with Lyme, it inflames the nerve endings and can cause

permanent damage... I am not bedridden but can't do much, need help

dressing, eating, almost everything so am pretty housebound.

Each person is different, but the longer untreated the more CHANCE of

permanent problems. The rough average is you get back 50-70% of what you

lost...
