I won my Disability case!

Hi all,

I won my Disability case! And it's a hard thing to do in New York.

I've been dealing with Social Security since last April!

I've only worked 2 out of the last 6 years. Not fun, pain meds,

awful!

They're going back to Nov 2004, when I had to leave my last job

because I was in too much pain to do my job. So I will get a good

chunk of money. It's been really hard financially on DH and me.

Thank goodness I will be getting some financial help, especially in

this next year. They said they'd review my case in a year or two to

see where I'm at physically.

They know I've been considering WLS and two of my doctors told them

so in their reports.

It's ok...if only for a year, it's better than nothing.

Now we have to pay the lawyers.

I'm still happy about this because they denied me the first time, and

I had to try again, except with a lawyer this time.
