Guest guest
Hi guys. Well, just to refresh your memory, I had mammo and sono last wk with no signs of anything. (well sono tech saw something for a sec but couldn't find it again...lol). So, I went to see my doc yesterday and of course lump is still there, and pain is getting worse. So he's sending me to breast surgeon. I went to make appt, and the first avail. isn't until dec 12th. The lady scheduling them told me, " ma'am, they're booked until mid December. " Then she just stood there like she was expecting me to say 'Well, never mind then. " . Lol. I was like, ok, then schedule me for first available please. After she did I made a comment about how a month seems like such a long time. She's like, " Well, your doc put here that it should be wtihin the next month so it probably isn't that serious. Besided, we don't have that many breast surgeons around here. " Alrighty then. So anyway, I'm thankful to have a proactive doctor, but I think his staff needs some education. I suppose if they don't have an earlier appt there's nothing I can do, but man. The pain in my boob is enough to put me over the edge. My pcp doesn't think it's anything more than fibrocycstic disease, but I'm not confident with anything until they get this thing out of me. Or biopsy or whatever. What a long wait ahead. Thanks for letting me vent. in TX
