Guest guest
My son has fought yeast for the last two years with little to no success. He has been on Nystatin for months at a time, Diflucan, and GSE. Of course, it got worse during our 1 1/2 years of chelation. We recently did an OAT test after a month of Diflucan and his yeast markers were as high as before (149 ref. range 1-40). We started him on 1/2 capsule of No-Phenol (1 capsule was way too much) twice a day followed by 3 drops of GSE twice a day as well. Seems to be working. Has anyone stayed on GSE/No Phenol for maintenance? I know that most people use GSE/No Phenol for a few days, but I haven't seen anyone using it for a long time. My son has been on it for three weeks. I should also mention that the last OAT indicated clostridia, so he is also currently taking Flagyl (three weeks so far). We have been gf/cf/sf/low sugar for 2 years. Also, our metals tests show that my son is high in tungsten. We have seen other metals come and go during chelation, however, tungsten remains very high. The lab sends info on where tungsten is found, however, my son isn't exposed to anything like that. Any ideas? Happy Easter, Betsy
