Has any one ever tested with Enterolab and gotten back a

" you are totally fine, eat with wild abandon " kind of result?

(I suppose those who get such results aren't here reading my question.)

It seems like every one here who use/s/d Enterolab gets back a

" you are intolerant of X, Y, and Z " result.

I'm half afraid to consider Enterolab for fear my diet might become

even more restrictive than it already is. I mean, if all you can

eat is sand, mud, and chocolate and they take away the sand and

mud, you'd be left with eating ONLY chocolate. While that might be

OK for a day, a week, or even a month, it'll get real old real fast

for a lifetime's diet.

Just wondering if ANY ONE here has suspected an intolerance to

" Q " , sent a test to Enterolab, and had Enterolab say " Nope, you

don't seem to be sensitive to Q, have it in double dipped servings

and enjoy " .

Of those who were tested:

DH - Horrible Symptoms: results came back DQ2,DQ8 and gluten

intolerant - nothing else

MIL - Had no symptoms (so she claimed) took the test for moral

support: results came back DQ2 and gluten intolerant IGA and TTG and

recal fat off the charts (higher than anyone else). Also came back

with milk issues. She went GF immediately, within a month she was able

to go off the iron supplements she has used for 20 years and the

tingling in her hands and feet went away :)

Aunt - Horrible Symptoms for years though it was lactose intolerant:

Results came back DQ2 and elevated TTG and IGA. Most symptoms

resolved on GF diet

SIL - Symptomatic, small stature, failure to thrive: results: DQ2 but

results within normal ranges except IGA elevated 1 point above normal

check back in a year. At this point she has chosen to not go on the

diet and still has symptoms.

SIL - " Lactose Intolerant " - Results DQ2, DQ8, elevated IGA NO Milk

issues at all. Went GF 2 weeks ago and says results are great!

So I guess the answer is that we were only told to not eat gluten and

those who thought they had milk issues were told ok and have done fine

adding it back after going GF. Only my MIL was told that she could

not have one more thing.
